Hack Nights

Hack Nights are weekly meetings hosted by NYU Tandon’s OSIRIS Lab. During Hack Nights, we will discuss topics ranging from exploiting security vulnerabilities to performing network reconnaissance. In addition to the presentations on these topics, live demonstrations will be given displaying the particular topic in action using freely available tools.

The target audience for Hack Nights is anyone who is curious about cyber security but has not been able to dive in because they do not know where to start.

Hack Nights will take place every week from 6:30 - 7:30 PM on Thursdays during NYU Tandon’s Fall and Spring semesters.

What do I need to bring?

We suggest you bring a laptop in case you want help setting up the demonstration on your computer, however they are not mandatory.

What do you expect me to learn?

We expect you to be able to comprehend the topics presented well enough to be able to do your own research of them.
